Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Trinamool Congress spokesperson Sashi Panja on Monday criticized the central government over the lack of progress in the Pahalgam terror attack investigation. She stated that even after 55 days, the actual terrorists responsible for the attack remain unidentified and at large.
Panja said the party's national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee has posed five direct questions to the Centre regarding the incident, which she said deserve immediate answers. The TMC has accused the central government of evading accountability and suppressing critical details.
She further alleged that the BJP is engaging in deliberate misinformation campaigns, particularly targeting the OBC community. “They are trying to distract from their failures by dividing communities with false narratives,” she claimed.
Panja reiterated that the TMC will continue to demand justice for the victims of the Pahalgam attack and will not allow the issue to be buried under political spin.
